 Activating Gamma AI for Marketing Teams

 The Situation

As part of a broader Gen AI Awareness program delivered to a specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer, Gamma AI featured prominently across multiple sessions for corporate marketing teams — reaching 50+ professionals across India and International Business. Adoption, however, was inconsistent: some had tried the tool before without much success; others, particularly senior team members, weren't using it at all, even as younger colleagues on their teams had already begun exploring it independently. The tool was paid for, but its value wasn't being fully realized.

As part of a broader Gen AI Awareness program, the goal for this session was narrower and more specific: turn existing Gamma AI access into confident, everyday use — closing the gap between having the tool and actually using it well.

We opened the session with two simple questions. When asked who had used any AI tool before, nearly the entire room raised their hands. When asked who had not used Gamma AI specifically, just as many hands went up. This wasn't a room of AI-curious early adopters — it was a room starting from zero.

We then delivered a dedicated, hands-on Gamma AI session — including a live demo showing a complete presentation generated from just a few prompts, followed by guided, practical exercises so participants could build their own decks in real time.

The shift was immediate and visible:

• Professionals who had tried Gamma AI before, without success, reported feeling genuinely confident using it after the session
• Department heads and senior professionals — some of whom hadn't engaged with the tool at all — committed to exploring it further, having seen their younger team members already using it
• Participants new to Gamma AI responded with visible excitement at the live demo, seeing an entire presentation take shape from a handful of prompts
• Across the board, participants left with clear intent to make Gamma AI a regular part of their workflow, not just a tool they'd heard of

This session reinforced a broader truth: the barrier to AI adoption is rarely the tool itself — it's the absence of guided, hands-on practice. Paid licenses only become productive capacity when someone shows a team exactly how to use them.
